Ripping CD's

EAC to FLAC. kinda complicated, but when my CD's got stolen, at least I knew I would get an exact replica. I think you can rip to MP3 as well.

I think the questions go:
- how important is quality?
- what formats do your players support?
- do you want anything special - like gapless or simply one big file?

On a scale from 1 - 5 ... Quality - 1. It's just vocal/spoken word, so the bit rate can be low.

Format .. MP3

Some form of tracking needs to being maintained so 1 file doesn't contain 5 chapters. Meaning if I need to stop and pick-up someplace else, I won't have to fast forward/rewind through 2hr long tracks.
