thats as high as my bravery went! it still had a little more in it, 150 could have likely happend. thinking back it was probibly really dumb to do that on newyears eve with all the cops out....oh well, wont be doing that again soon

I've had my GF's Monte Carlo up to 120, 140 ain't that much more

I think my best was ~155-160 speedo was a bit shaky at that speed.......and still had throttle but running low on nerve. However my 337 was witnessed by credible sources at +140 and the source was in the car next to me doing the same speed and my copilot was a bit shaken......

However my dumbest was on a suburban freeway late evening'ish labor day weekend...........ooops. Also credible sources say I was going way to fast, as the arresting officer said I was in excess of his radar limit

Saw a video of it, he didnt even looks pissed off when he got out, he was smiling, what a fucking dumbass.

hay mang. You'd have never gotten to 140 unless the carlo's chip was replaced. GM sets the gov. at 124mph. Had my 90 Beretta up to that, scared the shit out of me when I hit it too. The car wouldn't let me have throtle control back untill I got down to 100mph. They MAY have changed it, but last I looked the only cars to go above that are the Camaro, corvette types.

Same thing on my Mustang, I hit 110 then it drops to just below 100 before it lets you accelerate again.

The other Enzo owners just got a pay raise......

plus the drag involved at those speeds is a big factor. the difference between 120 and 140 is a decent amount. i can hit 0 - 120 in under 20 seconds, but 120 to 140 takes about another ~15. the air resistance is a motherbitch
