District 9... anyone seen it???

title says it all really..... I just downloaded it via torrent to screen to see if I can take my son to see it, I was very impressed. Im not much of a sci-fi fan, but this movie was one of the better movies Ive seen in awhile.
Has anyone else seen it?

I heard it was good. Im pretty excited to see it. There isnt much else out there. Seems like it had a lot of big name guys behind the cameras without the big name actors which is always nice.

I thought it was very good. A couple of my friends did not like it, but I think they were expecting a shoot em up constant killing action movie. It was not! It was exactly what I thought it would be, a very good movie, with social commentary, great special effects, and a good story. All in all one of the better movies I have seen in a while.

Don't have TV so I never see movie ads... this one looks pretty good.
I am saving my free movie passes for the new Trailer Park Boys however

Carney64 is spot on with the review of D9!!!! Very cool movie.
