Currently the Lounge is only visible to users with accounts. The idea behind this was to shelter new users from our banter, and keep the forums looking focused. Anyone who signs up for an account here can read the Lounge, but any guests don't get to see it.

Would you prefer if it was publicly visible? One good effect is that this will get us more content on Google, so we will have a higher page rank, and the likelihood of us being found is higher. This also means that anyone can read anything in the lounge without registering.

Not a big deal either way, so I'll implement whatever the poll result is.

why frighten the nOObs

Like you said it really doesn't matter but being an "audio enthusiast" site maybe keeping it off is a good thing. The Lounge is mainly for us that don't have anything better to do with our time than making each other laugh. Just my thought.

Looks like it will be closed then. I will still keep the poll open for another day...

I say closed until you register, enough banter flows over into the other sections to show guests what to expect from this forum knowledge level wise.
