I had an interview today and it was very proffesional, the job I applied for is for a loader,labourer in the yard, the person who is leaving is retireing, so they are not just looking for just an average joe, the vibe I got from the interview was that this would be a company I would be able to retire with, I think things went pretty well, they said that they would contact me towards the end of the week for a second interview if they thought I was well suited for the job. Best thing is its only 20 mins down the #1, so thats not even a commute really. My fingers are crossed in anticipation :pray:

good job(no pun intended) man!

You know at the end of the interview when they ask if you have any questions for them? Tell them yas and ask what would prevent them from hiring you right now? It wil give you one last opportunity to overcome any issues that may be in their head that they think would prevent you. It also shows that you car, and are not afraid to ask serious questions when needed.

Good luck w/it. It's nice to see that some of us here are finally getting somewhere w/employment.

I have a test for warehousing on behalf of Caterpillar, sounds like it could lead to something decent. At least until I finish school easily.
