I do...and Im a proud Vet....I think it sould be mandatory to serve 'ur country...

I thank all of those I can (thanks to you too), esp after I met a guy at work that I have the highest respect for. He's seen a lot, been around the world serving as a Marine, Special Ops and the guy is nutz , but I have managed to connect w/him in a way few others have and for that I feel privileged.

So, thanks to you, Bill Armor.

X2 being a vet myself and will refraine from giving my opinion as it's very biased and not all will agree. Have a happy 4th.

happy 4th to everyone, vets especially . I often wish I had been mature and responsible enough to be in the military but looking back it was probably a good thing I didn't do it. I almost feel back to say Thankyou to all of you that did serve so knuckleheads like me didn't have to as trust me it was for the best for all of us

I however disagree that everyone should serve. We have so many idiots in the country as well...and some MAY benefit and be able to help and serve...but others would just screw it up....

Not everyone has the ability to do it.

Just like not everyone likes to change or can change the oil in their cars....
Or not everyone can fix computers...
Not everyone can be farmers...

But the work should be easy and easily obtainable. But it's not for everyone.

IF A DRAFT CAME TODAY AND ONE OF MY CHILDREN HAD TO GO. I WOULD STRAP UP AND GIVE THEM A BIG HUG AND A KISS BEFORE I WALKED OUT. I WOULD LEAVE MY FAMAILY WITH NO RETURN IN MIND.
I FEEL THAT I HAVE LIVED A FULL LIFE AND WOULD LIKE TO GIVE THEM THE SAME CHANCE. IM PROUD TO BE A AMERICAN. I LOVE MY COUNTRY AND ALL THE BROTHERS THAT HAVE DIED FOR OUR COUNTRY. THIS ALL IS EASIER SAID THAN DONE, BUT I HAVE GAVE IT YEARS OF THOUGHT.
THANKS AGAIN TO ALL MILATARY THAT HAVE SERVED OUR COUNTRY AND THE ONES WHO STILL SERVE OUR COUNTRY NOW. THE 4TH IS THE ONLY HOLIDAY DAY I CELEBRATE. MY SON WON FIRST PLACE IN HIS SCHOOL FOR A ESSAY- WHAT VETERANS DAY MEANS TO ME! I WILL SCAN IT AND POST IT.
