I know I never post here, but I am so frustrated I just had to vent.

Where I work the secretary had a 19" monitor, and it did everything she needed it too do.

Well, a guy farther up the food chain than I insisted she gets dual monitors. So, he orders her dual 23" LCDs. Then, so they can fit on her desk, they have to sit far back and she needs them set at 800x600 resolution so she can see them. What a joke. 800x600 is not even a widescreen resolution. It looks awful on these new 23" monitors.

This has nothing to do with her, she was fine before, and she did not ask for these, plus she can't see the best.

And here is the best part, almost everything she does is through a Citrix terminal to our corporate office, so she is stuck using just one monitor anyway. The dual monitors was a total waste.

And then this guy who got these said I could not order a $450 used server so we can setup some file sharing with backups. Argggggggg!

Why does it seem like the people that make decisions are the ones that have no clue? I work for the City of Detroit, I could go on and on and on...

I feel your pain. To me management is like a woman, don't try to understand them, you will only make your head hurt.

The fish starts stinking at it´s head! The same all over the world.
