F' that!! My stomach started to hurt just watching it! And on a windy day that pole is swaying back and forth!

With as many disturbing vids as I watch, I kept waiting for the technician to fall to his death bouncing off the antenna on the way down.

I use to know some guys that put the towers up and it is just hard to imagine being able to function up there like that. Even a simple act such as grabbing a tool becomes a life threatoning event for fear of slipping off or dropping it.

I would love to see the paycheck that those two earned to do nothing more then change a light bulb.

My hands started to sweat.

Digression, did the narrators voice sound familiar to anyone? It may not be the same but it immediately reminded me of a 90's bass track from a popular bass group of the time.

Anyone?

Saw this last night and my hands were seriously starting to sweat. That's crazy. But at the same time, just think about the cool pictures, memories and bragging rights you would have after doing that! Take a HUGE set of balls to do that shit!

This would be a great job for base jumpers! Save time, express elevator on the way down.

Well, I guess that narrators voice did not trigger any memories for anyone else. It reminds me of the beginning of The House of Magic, on Bass is the Name of the Game by DJ Magic Mike and MC Madness. It's the first track. If you have it, give it a listen, it is a great track anyway.

After a certain height, my body starts to shut down to tell me to get down. So I would probably not make it 1/3 way up.

I cant think of the group, but I believe it sounded something like "track six woofer excursion test".....

Yea you would, the elevator ride for the first 600 feet.

I'd consider it for an ungodly amount of $$ and I would HAVE to have a parachute. At least if I did slip, I had at least one chance to TRY and save my ass.

That was a good one too. The one you are talking about was Power Supply.

The one I was thinking of was the beginning of The House of Magic, on Bass is the Name of the Game by DJ Magic Mike and MC Madness. It's the first track. If you have it, give it a listen, it is a great track anyway.

$1.00 a foot plus base hourly wage.
Like high steel, you have to have no fear at all.
Native Indians and Newfoundlanders seem to do this type of work easily.
