I like it but the damn background still looks pink (supposed to be gold?) with my colour calibration. Oh well.

I am really liking the look of the forum now.

One small request though. I notice things are highlighted just with a mouse over. Any way to make the highlighting slightly darker? I can see a difference, but not really all that much of one. I am pretty sure it is not my monitor (LED back light).

One issue I have is that when you click a link now, it opens in the same window instead of opening in a new one, or a new tab.

Huh? Which links?

The old forum didn't open every link in a new window...? I am not noticing any different behavior.

Do you mean off-site links?

I see they did that in order to conform to XHTML standards...

It's not the end of the world, but it is a bit annoying. When I finish reading whatever is in the link, I close it which then closes my original post that I was reading. I guess I'll just have to get used to hitting the back button in stead.

Overall though, besides this, the new Phorum is nicer. Thanks.

Yeah I liked when it opened a link in a new window now lots of times I forget and close the link instead of hitting backspace and have to go back and reopen the site.

Hold down the ctrl key when you click a link and it will open in a new tab.

I have other forums that are the same way so it is just a matter of relearning it. No burning eyes this morning and it is a sharp look tom.

Funny the text part of the website is lighter in this look than the last one. The background is only marginally darker. Meh! Whatever works!

as mentioned earlier in the thread you can typically change the clicked link behavior in your browser settings, granted, it is global, but if it is that big of a deal, change the settings.
