Phoenix Gold Phorum

Now that PHPBB3 has matured enough to support all the mods I needed, I have swapped the Phorum over! Still some stuff left to do like edit the graphics and add an anti-spam mod, but the board should behave similarly to before. Some new features may take some getting used to, so please check out your user control panel for all the new features.

Yes tapatalk will be added as soon as I get the more obvious fixes implemented, like a new logo for the top

It looks like you lost some post's in at least the general section too. A guy came over from DIYMA to ask a question and it looks like his post got stomped. I'll let him know to repost again.

Yeah I did the database copy right after work (about 7 hours ago), so all the posts between then and now are only in the old software, which I have backed up. I thought about closing it down but I didn't notice that much activity.

Hmmm not really without making a custom template... but that makes installing mods a bit tougher. I'm sure it's fine once you get used to it.

subsilver template is like that.

Not for pages, but most images/attachments are ok.

I am not going to bother with an SEO plugin this time, since Google seems to have built in a lot more forum friendly indexing now.

That's awesome! Unfortunately, I can't test it because verizon is being a piece of shit here. I can't seem to get any internet access, the connections are timing out for anything I try on the phone that uses 3g data :p I'll give it a shot tomorrow or later tonight and let you know.

I do not like the look. I need a "darker" "theme". Will "themes" be supported in the future? There were several options with the old phorum.

Can't find the phorum in tapatalk... Am I missing something?

Its cleaner, but needs a darker theme just makes everything easier to read... Just my 2 cents.

I cant find it in the tapatalk list either. What is the name on tapatalk tom, phoenix phorum? If so, maybe it takes a while for them to list them. Will check again later.

o man! just as i started to figure it all out.... i thought the phorum was gone....

Oddly enough, when I visit via my mobile browser I get the tapatalk pop up now saying this forum is android native, visit tapatalk.com for more info, so the browser sees the plug in, I'm guessing we are just being to impatient waiting for tapatalk to update their list

Ya, I am getting the same thing with my iphone. Comes up and asks me if I want to learn more about tapatalk I will just wait it out...
