Because of the package attempted bombings, the U.S. authorities, the security conditions for the transport of mail to United States have tightened. There are currently restricted to parcels with a maximum weight of 499g (!) are accepted. Parcels over 500g can currently only be sent as EMS (Express Mail Service)

That pretty much means shipping a nice 40USD TIXO (which is a real bargrain) with a total weight of 3kg packed costs 95USD

When did this happen? I just shipped a parcel to Florida this morning for $18 that weighed 3.9 lbs.

I don´t know when this came up. I got the info when i wanted to get an online quote for shipping the TIXO to Oregon.

TIXO? I am not surpised if that is why it has taken so long to get the mandrops stuff. A package labeled as wiring accesories from australia:) might look a little strange.

with the highest shipping bill too! Did I mention that I had a federal agent in my house last week to interview me about a former roomie that is applying for a secure job. As she was asking if had established any foregn national contacts I couldn't help but think of all the international shipping/recieving I have done this year...

I have beeen checking shipping quotes for cars to a bunch of different states today I haven't noticed a change in shipping pricing or policy.

Maybe the bombs had a fake return address in Austria and the Österrich Post got a slap on the wrist from the 800lbs gorilla.

Yo Joerg - Finally got the ground block today , thanx again for all you did and the shit you had to put up with MANDROPS.

mine came in as well. I was able to swap the 1/0 lug with the 2 - 4 awg lugs like I had hoped, so once I swap the green leds for blue and make the black case Ti it will be perfect!

Did anyone else that ordered the blue/silver twist wire wrap it around their naked body? Be honest now.....
