Oh yea ! New job!

Waited to post this until I knew fort certain but a new factory is opening at the end of June, beginning of July. I just got the call today, I start Monday April 9th as maintenance full time right out of the gate. A pay raise and off of second shift. Hell Yea! I will be one of the first few hired. They will be hiring around another 160 jobs in the next year and signed with the state some 10 yr deal. They are considered to be one of China's biggest companies, in their version of the to 500 companies. I'll come back later to post more, break is over.

I have 0 on the job experience for industrial maintenance, but I did take classes as electives, when I went back to school for my associates in M.E.
I wont start out as high in pay as others, but it's nothing but up from there and I will make $1.10 hr more then I currently do plus the insurance premiums are paid for by the company, so that translates to another $300 a month is savings.
I'm blessed just to get the job. All maintenance men work in pairs, so I will be paired with someone that knows what I don't. I think what spoke in my favor is the schooling and I've taken PLC classes.

Going to see later today if the local audio store at which I hang out at will take me for the next 2 weeks. A mini vacation playing with car audio and getting paid for it. Just what the Dr ordered.
