I am selling an amp on Craigslist locally to avoid shipping.
It's been listed for 2 weeks with no useful response.
I have been toying with the idea of listing on the boards.

I got an email enquiring about shipping the amp.

Would you be willing to ship it to me? I have the money but I live in Spokane Washington area code 99207.. If you figure out what the shipping cost is I will pay for it. I really need that amp!

I have no clue as to the reliability of Dude.

Would this be worth pursuing and if so how do I cover my ass?

Have him PAYPAL the money as a gift before you send it.

Box it up, take it to UPS or FedEx office, get a quote for shipping. If he agrees, have him pay you with PAYPAL and ship it.

I second paypal. Or if he wont do that, wait until the payment clears until (it's fully deposited into your account) you send it. Anyone serious shouldnt have a problem waiting the extra 3-5 days.

Had a nice chat with Jeremy (Dude) , he's restoring a ride and remembers PG from back in the day.
He remains unimpressed with many of todays amps and wants to go old school.
I think we're off to a good start, it will be interesting to see where it goes.
