Figured some of you can appreciate this...

Post by ajaye »

I knew 2 of the owners for a while before it opened so I had a pretty good idea of what they were doing sound-wise before-hand, but you really can't get your head around it until you hear it in person. I played here 2 or 3 times before my "retirement" and it was almost scary. Its actually a basement level space and there is a 7-11 above it at street level, Jesse talks about it being like Jurrasic Park in the video when he goes up to get coffee some nights lol.

edit: here's a quote from the article
it devotes about 17,500 watts to just the 65Hz-and-below range

I have no idea who you are, what you are talking about and have no intention of clicking on a strange link to see if I might enjoy it.....
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

 You responded to the thread I introduced myself in yesterday.

Its a nightclub demonstrating its sound system's exceptional low frequency reproduction. Its being touted by some as one of the best in the nation.

Thanks Jbob, I figured url tags were automatically inserted.

Come on, a day is like 2 years in internet time. We are certainly e-buddies at this point at least, no?

I'm just trying to kill some time and start some discussion. I'm not sure why you seem to be insinuating that i have malicious intent when I am clearly here because because I share common interest with this community based on my intro thread. If you are gonna troll me, at least be funny about it.

ajaye, don't mind him. He was in a terrible PC-Virus accident a long time ago, it completely turned him around, or at least his name anyway

its funny actually as I have used that name for years now, like 15 or so. I had a supervisor at best buy named scott so I started writting mine backwards on emails so that people would know who was who. It carried on at intel with pagers as again there were 3 scotts in my group. Some people see it and recognize it right away and others it will elude them for years. I don't think it has anything to do with how smart you are or more with how you see/read things.
