Anyone here a fisherman/fisherwoman?? I have been working out of town lately and had the privileged of fishing a part of the river that is normally off limits to fishing. A few nights ago I caught a MONSTER brown trout. Unfortunately the guy I was with could not figure out how to operate my phone/camera before the monster got away.
I did however manage to catch the monster's little brother the next day. This time I got some pics.
29 inch approximately 8-9 lbs german brown trout caught on the Weber river here in Utah!
Between the two of us we probably managed to catch 50 fish in a three hour period but this was by far the largest catch of the evening. The fish pictured is the second largest river fish I have caught in Utah. The first being the monster that there are no pics of......

Catch and release my friend. I take no pleasure in killing a beast like this especially when I know I will not eat it. I have not kept a fish in Utah for years!

lol, the ol' goat was a little out of control that day! But then again, when I caught that fish the last thing I was thinking about is how I would look in the pic!
