I'm new here just want to introduce my self to all of you. My name is Rob and I'm 33 years old been into car audio since the mid 90's, its been a few years since I had a system but getting back into it. Right now I have a small system in our Montana mini van but that will change over the winter. I have a Alpine 9826 deck, Infinity Kappa 6.5 components in the front doors, 2 X QX12, 180.2 and ZX350. I installed the kappas when we first bought the van and was running them off a old Earthquake PowerHouse 120.2. But wanted some bass again so I asked the wife if I could get some bass going and she said yes, if she could start a hobby of her own so she bought 19 ball python and wants to start to breed Ball Pythons. So my last system I had was 2 X 12" Alpine type R running of a Tantrum 1200.1 and 6.5" kappa in the door and 5 1/4 in the kicks each running off a Tantrum 300.2 in a 97 Z24.

I was very pleased with the Phoenix Gold and wanted PG again, so I found a QX180.2 and 2 QX12 for $200 and a ZX350v2 for $65. In a few weeks I'll be picking a ti1000.2 and ti600.2 for $600 or for $800 I could also pick up a ti400.2. But not sure if I'll be getting the ti400.2 yet, I'm also not sure on the subs yet but the QX subs will be replace.

Anyways I just wanted to say hello to everyone.

EDIT: Forgot to mention I live in Maxville, Ontario, Canada

Welcome to the Phorum. Are you upgrading from the tantrum to the Ti's, or adding to it?

Upgrading to ti's, I no longer have the Tantrum I have a QX180.2 and a ZX350. The 1000.2 will be for the subs, and the 600.2 will be for the components witch will be also upgraded to 2 pairs per door. Just not sure on the subs, mids and high yet. Would like to stay with all PG.

EDIT: What do you guys think would be a good match for subs, mids and highs? Or should I go in the right thread and start a new topic.

Maxville??

416 south to 43, turn left.
When you get to the dirt road turn right.
At the last telephone pole, turn left. That's Maxville.

Maxville is where your brudders yore fadder and yore sisters yore mudder. 8)

Actually Maxville has one of the best Highland Games events going. Early August each year if I recall correctly.

Welcome to the Phorum.
I'm north of the big city, up the Valley towards the 'Prior.
I have scads of PG gear. I'm sick. It's like a disease.
We should hook up sometime.
I'm like 53 and old and cranky and resistant to change.
Ever go the Rideau Carleton Cruise Night on Wednesdays?

We just moved to Maxville from Orleans about 5 months ago. We wanted to moved to a small town to raise the kids, plus we found a 5 bedroom victorian house we couldn't pass it up. Highland Game was Aug 3-4, and there was around 55 000 people this year I was told. We did not go to the game just had a bbq and people over.

Welcome to the forum, though your avatar is hmmm..... a bit strange.
Your wife choose a better hobby btw; keeping snakes might keep "unwanted nightly guests" out, car audio seems to attract them.
Enjoy your hobby and put some snakes in the car at night.

Sorry I saw the avatar and though it was funny, I could change it if it not appropriate I have no problem doing that. The snakes are in a snake rack in there own room, we have a 5 bedroom and only use 4 of the and had a spare room. I have a 9 foot Boa I should use as a car alarm, lol.
