I am guessing E-Bay or CL. Some of these clowns have no idea how rare and hard to find some of this gear really is. About a year or so ago I bought a MPS2500 MINT! The assbag put it in a box that just barely fit and what do you think happened? After several months and friends overseas I finally got the damage fixed! O and by the way Thanks again Nils!

I think people just really do not understand how badly the packages are handled both by humans and especially by the machines. When I am done packing it I like to make it so that it could fall 6-8 ft with no problems.
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.
For amps like the MS series it's nice to cut out a piece of plywood just larger than the footprint of the amp and terminals and screw the amp to it. Then use normal packing items like air bags, foam, etc... It sucks to see the damage to such beautiful amps.
I was just reading on the FB alpine page that I guess there is a guy there that ships poorly. There is just no need I mean it takes 10-15 mins to pack it bullet proof but you will be on hold on the phone longer then that to do a damaga claim and I have never yet seen one paid out. I have received on box that was packed questionable and I was just lucky enough that the guy that sent it had perfect feedback and watned to keep it so he went out of his way to replace what was damaged. I would do that if it were me but others think its too much trouble but what goes around......
