Some of you guys are gonna hate me now....
Stumbled upon this one, while trying to get info on the bandit and outlaw for sale here.
JUST HAD TO BUY IT....
I'm pretty drained of funds now, having bought the ms1000 as well, so PLEASE let there be no more steals for the coming months!!
I was the first one to remove the bottom-plate as far as I can tell, just for inspection.
Looking at the inside one word came to my mind; new....
Will decide what to do with it soon; this is a one-time-only-amp around here, beeing in this state.
Only has some paint off, round the 4 screw-holes [asshole screwed it down with a drill]

ya, the 2500 i will be sending itchy...hopefully latest this COmming tuesday, looked quite nice. Not quite mint...but a bit of cleanup (it's not dirty...the guy either spraypainted something near the amp, like a sub box or.....got some spray paint on it somehow) and a bit of touch up...man.....almost mint.

I have one MPS2500 as well, and the funnies thing is that this is the best looking MS-amp I have.

Looks like new, just as yours - so only one thing to say.

Good luck with the amp!

So far; every amp of my collection has a story; this one as well.
I went to this guy claiming to have a mint outlaw.
We had agreed to meet at his house today, at 13.00.
The guy who opens the door says; sorry man, my brother is not home.
I say; we had an appointment here, and now. I just drove 76 miles to be here!
He replies; my brother forgets his appointments all the time, and he hasn't got his mobile with him.... I go
Then he says; I can't show you what you came for because it's at his work that he keeps it, but I've got an old amp in my closet as well, maybe that's something for you.
I was actually half way out the door by that time, but then he said the magic words" I think it is the same brand as that amp of my brother, it's a white one"....
You'll understand that I went back inside again right away....
Next thing I know, he recovers this mps2500 out of a closet, in box, with ALL original papers included, just as it was sold in 1994, with the name of the shop that sold it to him, and the price still on a label; $1149
The amp beeing used for 3 years[!], never saw daylight again.
I believe him, as I saw so many MS-series over the past years, I just know where aging starts with.
He's had it sitting there for 10 years!
So he tells me what he'd had in mind for it, I try not to smile right away, and pay him immidiately.
Then; I had a problem. It was raining outside. I was 76 miles from home.
I went there on my motorcycle, just to inspect that outlaw, not to bring home a big, heavy box....
But you understand, there was NO WAY I would leave there without this steal!
We double-wrapped it in plastic, sealed it with tape, and there I went, with that box on my knees, resting between the tank-bag and myself...
I got home safe
And there it is, united with some brothers [sisters] of it's kind. Will clean it up tomorrow, dirt on all edges.
Only chipped off, a 1cm. piece of the top-edge endplate paint, by removing the bottomplate  Powder-coating is SO thin at the edges of all those end plates.
I understand those mixed feelings amongst some of you, for me it's just unbelievable too, finding it this way!! Hope you enjoy with me.Thanks for the comments!

Since you're one of my PG-brothers TRISTAN;.....$363
Now you understand why I drove home for 76 miles on my bike,in the pouring rain, with a huge box on my knees...
NO WAY I'd left it there!!
I had a conversation this morning with this new baby, and it really wants to stay here..
So sorry guys, I'm not going to sell it.
I know I promised some of you to look for one, but this one has me infected with that greedy-bug..aaahhhrrgggggg...
It's just a look-back-in -time when I look at it , beeing so complete.
But; you just never know WHAT'S COMING UP NEXT, and my funds are pretty gone now, so next one will HAVE to be for sale!
As Tom said; otherwise I'd become the one with the BIGGEST collection of MS-amps around here!

Let me get this straight.

You picked the amp up on your motorcycle, in the rain, 76 miles away, riding in your lap??????

That's hardcore.

I'm surprised it wasn't on a dutch bike... or even his scooter

You see some pretty amazing stuff on those bikes. Moms with two kids, a stepladder, and a month's worth of groceries... just riding along like nothing's going on.

Sometimes a man's got to do, what a man's got to do...
I was very happy to arrive home safely, I can tell you that; couldn't look over my shoulder left or right, so just stayed in my lane, only using my mirrors.
I'm sure when the cops saw me, they would have taken me off the road!
Luck was on my side yesterday...
Tomorrow I'll go back there; have a new appointment with the owner of the outlaw and bandit.. so now I'm making effort for you guys, whom I promised to try too find those amps for... NOT for myself!
[go on my bike again, but if it's a steal, NO WAY I'll take that outlaw in it's wooden crate with me!!!]
I'll go back by car, but only after having contact with the guys I'm trying to help out here..
