Need some thesis help

I'm in need of some help in picking a target market for my senior design thesis, so I figured all you could probably help. My teacher is as good as useless, but I'm stuck with him even though he doesn't have a design background or experience (special thanks to the teachers union for causing me to pay so much for no education in return). I dont want to give away the project completely (you could probably be able to figure it out), so I will just ask some basic questions.
Was there any situation that required a liquid, but you could not get any there?
Have you guys ever had to rig something up in order to dispense a liquid in an efficient manner? If so, what did you need to do this for?
Was there a situation that you wished you have a dispensing unit, however there are none available?
These questions can pertain to any situation/product. In a nutshell, I am having a difficult time picking indoor, outdoor, safety, etc. And my research is pretty much at a standstill. Any help you can give would help.

- Medical syringe to apply small amounts of liquid - lubricants
- Gaping yap hole with adjustable seal to transfer liquids from a brown into a human gullet
- Condom to transfer liquids from pecker in the middle of the night in a sleeping bag when it's -40 below and you drank 15 beer before hitting the pit. Be sure to tie it tight when full. Never leave the bag. In the morning you have what is commonly referred to as an Arctic Apple. Those with lame bladders will have an Arctic Apple farm.

Home brewing. Dispensing the beer from one fermenter to another, all the while straining all the crap.

I think Capital M was rught, you should try to empty the gas from a gas tank of a car. Then make an experiment. There you can have the observation that you can use in your senior thesis. Good luck!

i can second that i just made my first batch of homemade wine but dont know if the stuff in the bottom is fit for human consumtion or if i need to do some dispensing my self. other than that this stuff is really good i had my mom try it without telling her its homebrew and she thought it was store brand.
