I have a Walther G22 bullpup .22 rifle that is a super fun plinker....but I also have a SPringfield XD45 that I love to shoot! I havent been in a while, but it is loaded....within reach from my bed at any given time with some nasty looking hollow points.

I used to duck guide so I abused it. After 5000+ shells it never jams. Keep the nova clean and it will treat you well, true with all guns as you know. I dropped my SBE in the mud and picked it up to shoot countless times. Just have to clean it well. Enjoy

I have a Bennelli shotgun as well, I'm just not sure of the model. Damn nice gun, although I have yet to kill anything with it. Besides that I have 2 muzzle loaders, a CVA and a Thompson Center. I love my Thompson, it's so light for a muzzle loader, but it's fast and accurate.

Haven't had the money to buy a pistol yet, but I will be soon.

my brother recently built an ar-15, and we're currently in the design phase of some custom parts. Unfortunately we're both fairly busy people, with far too many projects

armalite has a name for good weapons nowadays, but I have not had much association with them. I had a browning 9mm I loved, my brother carried the same weapon for years with the large clip of course.
He was a licensed firearms dealer and that was one of his favorite pistols. He also has a mini-14 in the trunk of his car he loved dearly for like forever.
Being he was military also I would have expected him to be in love with the AR-15, and M-16, but he was a marksman also so accuracy seemed to be his forte. He was a gun nut from childhood so, its hard to base what he liked to the real world.
I do remember he was playing with a 12 gauge one day < he was 12, I was 7> and he almost blew off my left leg. Luckily he move the barrel a hair as he pulled the trigger. It blew a nice hole in the side of the tool shed out back of my grand-parents house
As I say he was a gun NUT !... I just had uniform damage that time
I can only suggest you goggle and search for negative info before you make that kind of buy, after all its a win or lose deal as you can never get a refund on these things
POST note:
Any firearm IMO has to usable and functional in ANY environment. Great looks are nice, but it won't save your life. And thats what I consider a firearms job is. Its something to use under whatever the circumstances to save ones life and that of the ones that person loves. It must be functional regardless of how it look. I would rather have a real ugly gun and be alive, then have a beautiful firearm in my dead hand.

*edit* misread your question, thought it said pretty UNCOMFORTABLE, which they are very.
just wanted to comment, that is a very nice upper. one piece all the way up, no forward assist.. looks quality.
