im curious about how much current goes through it. Notice he uses an LED light, something that doesnt take much power. If he connects his fridge, then I will be impressed

Phone systems use voltage for signaling so even if it did provide enough current, the voltage would be changing during different signaling and thus the current would change as well. I don't know if fridges rely on steady current but I suspect they do.

im thinking a fridge or something wont work. but a couple lights or something for if you lose power would make it awesome

The best idea I can think of is powering your cordless phone off of it... :shock:

Considering there is only between 40-70 volts on a phone line I don't think you'll be running a fridge off of it.
