It's been 4 years and we have lived together for the past year so I guess it was finally time. We picked out a ring a few weeks ago and picked it up last week. After a weekend of torture I gave it to her last night. Now to pick out a day.......

Funny you should mention that, we have talked about it! The only thing stopping us is the price. We're talking about different ways of doing something like this. I'm sure my mother's side of the family will get a kick out of it with them being
VERY, overly religious (mormon) and all!

Thats because there isn't a ring made that can plug a hole!

Strangely enough, I am unable to interpret what this means.

I've been on that boat twice, the ring ruined the relationship both times. Hope you have better luck.

I keep hearing that! I did dodge the marriage bullet about 5 years ago after dating a girl for 7+ years. That was the best thing that ever happened to me. If I would have married that girl right now I would be absolutley miserable. She was a mormon and wanted to get married in the temple, she just couldn't brainwash me enough to go along with the plan.
