Marc, have you set the chrome2 board style in your profile yet (instead of the default Andgrey)? You will laugh.

I'll look into it, but I would like to give the forum some time to settle in first, so that I know the bandwidth requrements.

We will have about 200gb disk space, so that's not an issue. There is only 2gb/month of transfer currently, and that will add up VERY fast if you guys host files here. I may have to upgrade my hosting plan if we decide to go this route, which means more $!

For now I would prefer that. If the bandwidth usage is low enough, I will definitely add an attachment feature for pictures.

Whoah.

Ok, my bad. I checked out my hosting, and I actually have 2000 gigabytes of transfer, instead of 2...

We couldn't hit that even if we hosted 24/7 streaming porn.

I will definitely implement attachments then.

Any other ideas?

X2 when I've read everything on a particular forum I like to just click the title to take me to the main page. It's also a way to refresh the page for newer posts.

If possible. If not, oh well.

FIRST POST, all the way from Texas! :D I love the look of this forum. Great Job.

Quick reply is installed. If you find it annoying, or want to change the setup, look in your profile. It took a bit of tinkering to make it show up properly in the different themes, so I guess I will stay away from adding more themes after this. I will have to make some buttons to match the specific themes, but it looks pretty good.

Also added a mod for blocking open proxy registrants, so people can't avoid IP bans anymore. This should solve the Ibanender problem we had on SB.

Also added temporary bans, so that "offenders" can be given brief bans to stop them from posting.

I will be testing this on myself right now so that I can get some god damn work done, so I'll talk to you guys later 8)

Well would you look at that, it worked.

I got work done, AND the ban lasted exactly as long as I set it to. Very neat.

The forums favicon (little icon next to the URL) seems to be working again too.

Sure but uhh...

Control panel for what?

A death console?

That'd be pretty sweet.

instead of having the options on the top like profile, FAQ, search those buttons when i was playing around with php about 6 months back they had one.

its like a little panel that when you scroll down the page it floats with you on the left side of the screen, you can even have it disappear until you move the mouse over to that side of the screen, its a pretty cool feature
