So, not like it matters, but how in the hell did KITT from Knight rider go from a Firebird to a Mustang? Hell, it isnt even a good looking Mustang! Even more importantly, why the hell are they briniging Knight Rider back? Well, it could be interesting given Hoffmans obvious drinking problem.

SPONSORSHIP

Ford probably paid them heavily out the ass to do it. Ford must have been jealous that GM got all of the Transformers advertising, so they pulled this out.

Why do they bring back the Mustang, an almost exact clone of it's heyday model? Why is it so immensely popular that all the other domestic manufacturers are following suit, by ripping off their own most famous designs? Why do they bring back all these old shows?

They are selling out their glory days to make a buck. Capitalism 101 my friend... nothing is sacred to these people, or the consumers

Man that double wing is killer... betcha they got it off of eBay. I can't wait until every spiky haired douche driving their base model mustang decides to mimic it.  :idiot: :idiot:

My god is that a Cobra logo on the fender? :idiot:

The main character is the estranged son of Michael Knight, played by an Abercrombie and Fitch model. It isn't even Hasselhoff... and it's not like the guy has anything better to do... :?

KITT will be voiced by that annoying fuck Will Arnett too.

This is going to set new lows for bad TV. Thank god I don't have cable, or the self loathing it would take to make me watch this

HaHa! Yep, Ford wanted to redeem itself for a mustang (Barricade) getting it's ass kicked by a camaro (Bumblebee) in Transformers!

I used to watch Knight rider all the damn time! Do you guys remember the episode that introduced KARR, KITT's evil twin!? F'n scary man! :o

"My god is that a Cobra logo on the fender?"

Yes it is. Just like 1967, you can order one of these through a regular dealer.

Ford did a really nice job with the classic lines of this model. I don;t care for the rear end treatment. The Camaro retro and the Challenger from Daimler are also too kewl. The old school designs had class. That's why the factories producing these. Each is unique and timeless, unlike the generic crap being mass produced today. Most of today's cars are unidentifiable until you see the badge. Boring.

Factories are also going back for marketing. The '60's generation are now able to afford to buy these rockets. Kids are gone. Mortgage is history. Re-living their youth per se.

Reviving Knight Rider gives me the willies. The original FireChickens used were garbage. Ugly, under performing, uncomfortable. Most are where they should be - over at the yacht club as mooring anchors.
