My pal Art has a bimmer. Not sure what it is again, but its apparently real hard to get here in the states and he had to drive to another state to get one.

Nice car, rear wheel drive with slip diff makes it fun (donuts) and its really getting there. Was a mess when he got it :)

does he post on bfc?

the car is a 318ti, its kinda a red headed step child of the bimmers. but its pretty cool, its very light, although not very powerful. it also doesn't have the normal 3 series suspension, but rather on borrowed from the 85-91 3 series.

it can be loads of fun

also, that car doesn't come standard with a LSD, so if it has one, someone took it from an m3 as i did. that is the best upgrade you can do to those cars. loads of fun, plus he will be able to actually get around in the snow

as for the m front clip, that's nice, make sure that he/you actually make use of the brake ducts as the will line up differently from the original ones.

oh yeah, and if he puts an m badge on it i will burn his car down

He loves euro cars with a passion. Infact his biggest passion are british cars :) hence why we get on so well.

It was him who gave me the vents and clear sides for my tib, his tib was modded alot and had all the UK coupe badges on :)

Art is a very quiet chap, he has very good taste. Im the opposite LOL buts hes a really good friend.

Power wise its pretty evenly matched with my Tib, I have the edge on a couple of things but his is stick, so I do lose on the jump.

He was going to a BMW meet in PA when someone's beagle ran out into the road. Dead dog and fucked front bumper, hence the new one :)

I think he was talking of a CAI that goes down into the bumper and he's not using that meshy thing rather some straight beam thing he was talking about.. Not sure, Im not really into beemers but I do like his because its a hatch.

I mean in the UK everything that isnt a hatch is completely hated, Jettas? fuck them, NOONE wants Jettas, match the GTI Jetta against a Golf and the Jetta is worth half of the golf in the UK.

Infact the Jetta is such a white elephant that you get laughed at for buying one. Yet you yanks are the total opposite. Noone likes golfs over here and its all about Jettas, hey, I spose someone needs to drive them :D

So respec to yous lot here, cos you seem to know what good and bad is, hence why I love Mastiff's car.

The Scirocco was pretty popular in the UK back in the day too.

Me? I want a Fiat Uno IE Turbo. get them up to 200 horses in a car that small and light and it will anhialate anything here. Thing is, youre not allowed to bring a british car over until theyre 20 years old, by that time Ill never find one that hasnt been eaten alive, theyre rot boxes :(

Yeah theyre the ones that came on the rims.. Hes got new ones now :)

What are the laws in Canada? in the UK it's 2 points per bald tire. Here in the US you can ride em til they pop..

Do you get screwed over in Canada for spams?

No idea what the laws are... I replace my tires when they pass the wear marks. Running bald tires in Canada would be equivalent to suicide.
