With Valentines Day lurking,

What have you done to rektify your PG obsession with the woman in yer life?

I went with the classic flowers & dinner combo with a message gift card.

Don't get caught with nothing or you'll only be touching yerself.......

A card and Chinese food. I guess the new bumper and roof rack were enough this year. We agreed to not buy stuff for each other this year. How about you Fowler?

i got her a couple DVD's (no, not produced by Vivid) I'm taking her to dinner at papa hydens (nice restaurant and Amazing desert in Portland) n some flowers. Chinese food sounds better though...maybe i will just get dessert there and take out Chinese!

psh, i probably will anyway...my lady has gone through this bought with insecurity about her self so shes been holding out on me.

its not the PG gear that gets me in trouble, its when i miss plans because I'm installing it that gets me in the doghouse

We dine out once a week to keep it alive.
28 years is not a long time.
I'm doing diamonds and chocolate.
I have a PG addiction, but she has a physical fitness one to even things up.
So I guess her addiction is pleasing to me as well. :D :D :D

Wendy and I will be doing nothing out of the ordinary. Thank god.

We both believe that prescribed gift giving days (christmas, valentines day, etc) are a load of consumerist BS, so we give gifts spontaneously instead. It means a lot more when you give it for a reason other than "happy X day!", as if that day was somehow magically different from any other.

My woman has no hobbies, is "dieting", and very picky about clothes.

oh and did I mention aunt flo is in town?

that translates to no chocolates, no desert, no real food, no presents, no clothes, and no sex............

so I'll save some cash buy her a case of light beer and watch her drink herself into oblivion.

I showed my wife a ZERO BALANCE morgan jewlers statement finally after 2 years of payments. Gift of "no debt" is always a good one.

I don't know what I'm going to do but I'll probably make a card, give her some hugs and kisses and take her our for food that doesn't suck.

While I tend to agree with Tom as far as gift giving goes, I also have to respect the fact that my wife is somewhat romantic (despite her cold, cold exterior, hehehehe) and that even doing just a few little things goes a long way. I don't think she expects to be showered with gifts but I know she'll appreciate it if I do something rather than nothing.

I'm pretty sure she bought me something though... we'll see.

Great for the Pepper salted squid (calamari) If you are into that! It's what everyone orders when they go there.

Otherwise another good place to go would be Powell's Seafood.
Or this other place...can't remember....Behind the Golden Coin lounge .....on 82nd and powellish...
Some good Chinese food....either way on any of those 3! I've had better....But it PDX it dont get much better! :) Believe me...I'm Chinese!

They AWLAYS buy you something. Even if they say they didn't. Don't fall for the "Don't get me anything. You are gift enough." cus yer not!! Her friends call the next day to find out what you did for her. It's her friends you are impressing. If you go all out and her friends only get some flowers then YOU become the man and when times get tough it's her friends you need on yer side.

My wife has four female friends, really. Two are neighbors, so friend by location/default. One lives in Montreal so 4000Km away and one lives in Calgary and sleeps with Tom. Nuff said ;)
