I just picked up a 98 Golf K2, it has a 2.slow but Kinetic has a turbo kit made just for that. So as soon as I can collect around 3 Gs, It's go time!

'96 MKIII GTI VR6 82,xxx miles Candy White/black leather....love the thing. Going to get magnaflow exhaust and new clutch, axles, timing chains, suspension this spring/summer....I had a CAI on it, but it was PITA to remove and clean the filter, so I put the stock box back in.
Love the thing. It has made many road trips and is a blast to drive around town.

200whp? When I "only" have 225 (assuming 20% losses from auto tranny) from a forced induction 2.3?
And on an N/A tuned JETTA? Cams exhausts porting and a chip???? In a 2300lb car, 230hp (assuming 15% drivetrain loss), you've got 10lbs/hp. This is approaching Lotus Elise range.
Ditto Brian. I'll believes it when I sees it.

Sooner than later I am going to be adding a Kinetic Stage 2 kit to my 98 2.0. Anyone know any dealers that will supply competitive pricing?

Okay, to the nay sayers, the esimates from what has been done are just that and yes I know I am on the underside of the 200 mark, but I can say with the mods and from a factory 120'ish WHP plus 10 from chip, less restricted intake and exhaust (5-7hp), head work, higher compression, yada yada, 190+ is not unrealistic. Yes it needs to be dyno'd for real numbers but, it is a lot quicker than my 337 was all the way through the gears, however it does not have the top end (do to final gear ratios) that the 337 had which would still accelerate well beyond 140mph....................
don't burst my bubble damn it.

Sorry no dice, have you tried Bahn Brenner? I have only seen S/C kits for the 2.0L crossflow.
