That something was meant to be?

For the past few weeks I have had time to think about going back home, I mean its supposed to happen soon enough.

But, my car has been telling me otherwise.

Four times I have tried to paint the interior parts and every single time the paint has wrinkled. I have tried everything, waiting a week to let one coat dry, waiting a few hours... Painting in the warm, loads of really thin coats. to no avail, it keeps reacting like a cunt for no reason. I done it all before and no such problems.

Today after having a dead battery for two weeks more went wrong. It took the best part of the day to get the battery charged and I think its fucked, and then I went out to get some chocolate and had a fucking blowout on R322, scaring the life out of me.

Something is trying to tell me something I think, and it smacks of "stay here"

hehe so tonight I have been reminiscing (sic) of all the times I have had with my car.. Some of the best being -

The day I got it.

I was driving down a CR and a deer ran accross the road (female) so I stopped. One thing us Jersey'uns know is one deer means more, you never hit the first one....

So I stop.. Male deer comes out, flash my beams cos it wont budge.. Comes charging toward the car and stomps on the hood.

I didnt know that in mating season they see it as a challenge, I found out how fast my car can go in reverse that night.. lmao.

The first time my now (thank god) ex wife drove it.

We were moving house and I had borrowed her ma's suburban. Of course, I did all of the moving whilst she sat on her fat fucking arse whining to her mother.. Anyway when I got back I had left her the keys to the Tib so she wasnt stuck without a car. My engine and mani were pinging, when I lifted the hood the mani was glowing fucking red.

A couple of weeks later she finally (and very begrudgingly, moany bitch) agreed to ride passenger in MY car for once (because she had a control issue). So, to make it more fun I strapped her into the harness and left Route 55's exit ramp at 60 mph. The look on her fat face as we drifted sideways was worth it's weight in gold.

She never rode passenger in the car again

To top it all off I intentionally bolted the driver seat in position so her short little legs couldnt reach the pedals.. She would constantly ask me when I was going to 'fix' the seat, I just said it was too far gone.. She never knew I did that on purpose so she couldnt have the arse out of it lmao, one of the very few secrets I ever had with her !

The day I put my first system in it.

I drove that fucking car soundless for four months because of the nightmare that was my Taurus. I didnt want to touch a single bolt on it.

So it was right nice to have a system in there (shame it was that solobaric bollocks mind).


The day I did the first round of performance work.

CAI, TB mod, plat plugs and 10mm wires. The gain was fucking ridiculous.

I accidentally put the MAF on backward and the car was spewing smoke. The apartment parking lot looked like a scene from Thriller rofl.

The day I painted it.

Up until this the car was riddled with small dents, scratches and marks. And a peeling front bumper. Seeing it all uniform and shiny almost bought me to tears.

The day I got the Tenzos. and fitted the tails.

This was the day. From that moment on I have people constantly asking me about my car. I even see people slow down as they drive past it to have a good nose.

The day I spun a 360 in the snow on bridge st.

Scary, but I escaped unscathed

The worst things....

Some cunt smashed my window, $230 for a new one.

Picking glass out of my ass for the next month or so.

Having to sell it

found the tire problem. The tire has come off the rim at the front edge.. I had this before with one of the others. its basically because the walls are so fucking stiff (40's high milage hard rubber) and the rims are polished.

So I need to get it reseated and black jacked to seal it.

Shouldnt be any bother
