Ok... Here is for those that don't know, or been out of the loop. Somehow in less than 2 years of opening up a business with a few penny's i made Best of Cleveland ... all of Cleveland and Northeast Ohio... I then went to the reception for the people who were also named best... best restraunt, bakery, yada yada yada...

well atthe event, which was hosted by Mercedes of North Olmsted, I met a few people, and the intrest was sparked between merging

I ended up selling the business, my soul, and whatever to the dealership. The guy is first class also.

you can read about it here

Now coming here to the dealership, i make my own rules, however my concern is to generate as much money as possible for the owner who i like. I give him a full 8 hours a day and don't fuk off as nearly as much as would like to

I generate so revenue for him, which to him is jawdropping. However for the custom stuff, I charge per hour, the minimum is $100 hr. Now some might think that is alot, but on the grand scheme of thingsI can do a 2-3 hour video job, and make him a grand and do aback up camera make another in an hour video yada yada ....

Anyways back on the subject of that box, in those six hours of doing that box, I would say 4 was worked on the install itself, I had other things going onthat I did while the fiberglass was curing, for instance I hung the amp and hooked it up, did some paper work, checked the email, etc

anyways there is a line of shit to work on, i try getting custom in when I can, but unless you charge crazily for it, such as $150-200 an hour, it really isn't worth your time. That doesn't mean i don't want to do it, but I use the custom as an excuse for keeping up on the times type of thing.

When we get more qualified installers, I will ease back a bit more and bring some in. But i want to make money, and be out by 6

BTW, I am not all high and might on myself, i am just a lowly piss ant in the world as a visitor, just trying to make a penny, so don't think i am being conceited either!

Thanks, just had to clarify

Good post jbondox. Looks like you nailed it right on the head. I would be happy doing installs all day long and get paid, but that won't pay the bills here where I live so I have to have an actual job and do other things on the side :) At least I have a job I love doing though for a living which makes things a lot less stressfuld :D

There are many people out there that probably cannot say that I imagine.
