So on friday I get this ebay question from a prospective buyer saying he wanted to come and see the car on saturday.
I got up saturday morning, charged the dead battery and took it out (uninsured) and put in $15 gas. he didnt show
So I get a call late in the evening after I sat and waited all day saying that he was sorry he couldnt make it but would definitely be able to show yesterday. The thing was my room mate was at work with his phone so we agreed this dude would contact me through email when he was about to leave, I would reply within 10 mins of getting it and he would head over.
9pm last night I was still fucking waiting, 10pm I got a fucking email telling me he wasnt going to make it and would be down in another 10 days. LOL fucking cheeky cunt.
So the fucking arsehole expected me to wait all weekend for him and not show then still think the car will be here for him when he choses to. I emailed him back basically telling him that I have 3 unique bidders and the car will make the reserve (they have been in contact with me asking about it.. I havent told them anything other than the reserve is set $1000 lower than a stock tiburon on KBB.. See if theyre clever enough to figure it out) but hey, I still have over a day left and already 8 bids from 3 unique.
So I basically said in the reply that he'd have to bid, because Im going back on the 16th and if the car doesnt make reserve I have a deal brokered with my room mate for it. I do, thats not a lie.. He hates my car aestheically, but he knows where its been and what its been up to, so will pay a good price for it.
But the fuckin cheek of some people, and the ammount that dont read things properly I've been offered a 12 second 1/4 mile police interceptor (supercharged and god knows what else) and all over kinds of stupid, even though in the auction I say "PLEASE READ THIS AUCTION CAREFULLY" and toward the end "I am going back to the UK" what the fuck would I do with a gas guzzling uber milage cop car?
