I spoke to the high bidder tonight, nice guy. Seems he has to have my car no matter what the cost. High bidder is Tiburongirl1992, she opened the account to buy the car, 16 year old girl from Wyoming.

I actually felt bad for her father. He sounded stressed, and really worried that the buy it now had vanished.. Sadly it hit reserve and thats vanished. I wouldnt want to be him if he loses LOL. Apparently shes been after a tib for about 6 months, but theyre hard to get in WY and the GTV6 was too much on insurance.

So thats it I guess. The car will be shipped out sometime next week and Ill be on the April 16th trans atlantic from NY to Southampton UK.

Thanks Wakeup. TBH I dont need any more.. The trip home is costing about $1900 (expensive but I get to carry all my computer parts, desktop and clothes.. you can take all you can fit in the cabin ) and enough to buy a new wardrobe of clothes (ahhh, TJMAXX) so Im happy.

I took a chance coming here, I'd only just started saving cash and getting my career off the ground (had been at a computer repair place for about 3 years and finally got good pay) and I blew all the savings I had getting over here then playing the immigration game for four years.

Thankfully I knew I would always have a place to live, when my father died mum got the house, so all the time shes alive I can live there, and if she passes on my brother and I sell it..

Nothing really went right here tbh.. Ive loved every minute of it (and boy, Ive seen more in seven years than some do in a lifetime !) but work here is sparse, my marriage was poo and the accident with my knee just sorta fucked it all up..

Doesnt matter. I have a job waiting for me as soon as I get my knee and back sorted over there doing what I love (graphics and gambling machines) so its all good.
