Are there any legal ramifications to sending someone a load of shit in the mail?
Seriuosly! I'm planning on sending one of my manufacturers a load of shit along with thier crap product they won't warranty. And wondering what trouble I might get into for doing it.

Seal it up real good so that it can be sure not to get all over the place, as the EPA or FED's might have something to say.. but if it is maked appropriately.. i.e. Biohazard material or something you should be all set. I mean it's human waste so there might be something about using the postal service about all that versus a courier or something... send it by courier... LOL

Oh, and it is illegal, unless done for medical or veterinary purposes.

Has anyone ever heard of "Spoof Card"?? You might/could think of some way to spoof them real good. Spoof card allows a caller to 1) have any nu8mber of your choosing show up on called ID.. i.e. say your calling from fradualt waraunty investgation service or the FTC, or something.. and you can also have voice changed to female from male (& Vise versa)... Incidently we sell the spoof cards here at the shop.. and people love them.. you can get thorugh to someone when you put a number on their caller id that you know they'll answer or you could really scare the shit out of someone with the just the right number on caller ID ... i.e FBI, FTC, EPA, State police, DEA, etc... and really freak someone out.
Just a thought

Myron & Davis. A video company. Johnson Safty is the parent company.
They are doing thier best to not warranty 3 sets of wireless headphones. I had 3 in a row DOA. Thier policy is to fax a request for an RA, signed and dated by an officer of the company. They, in turn, re-fax your form with the approved RA number filled in the appropriate space. Clearly stated on the form 'All RA's recieved after 30 days will be refused and returned to sender at sender's expense'. All a bit overboard but whatever.
I send the RA request and the next day I recieve the fax back with an RA number. I took 2 days till I got it on the UPS truck and off it went to Cali. Now, I paid to have the equipment sent to me and I'm now paying to ship back DOA crap. Only to have it show back up at my shop with 'REFUSED Past 30 Days' stamped all over it.
So I call to find out why. Thier response was that according to thier numbering system, that RA was given back in October and is past the 30 days. I told the girl in RA dept It hasn't even been 3 weeks at that point. Thier numbering system or someone there scewed up and I had the date stamps from the faxes back and forth to prove it. Only I never got all that out. She just kept interupting my explaination with 'that's impossible, our numbering system .. blah blah blah. Not to mention the dated signature. She says the date on the signature doesn't mean anything. Me "'So I predated my signature 6 months and waited till now to send it?"
So I'm screeming at this point telling her to put me on with one of the managers. All of whom were unavailable or out to lunch. I hung up and thought, I'll just go over thier heads and call the national sales manager. Who happens to be a long oldtime friend of this shop's. So I got ahold of him and started rambling about all this when he stops me in mid sentence and confesses he no longer works for them. And, as it turns out, all because of thier warranty policies.
So I have my 'office girl' call back to see what she can get out of them because I know I will just blow up at them again. The same BS just in a more civilized manner and ultimately she tells us that a manager will get back to us. Today a get a fax from thier manager, 'According to our numbering policy this RA is past 30 days and a new RA has been issued. Please return the items within 30days to aviod any future problems'.
Pay for shipping AGAIN my ass!!! The shipping I've wasted on these is already more than the item costs. Why the hell would I pay shipping again for thier mistake? So if I pay to ship something to them it's gonna be more than just the headphones.
Sorry for the long rant. But that's the short version.

That's were I have a problem because I want them to know it's from me. That along with thier torn up contracts and my vow to never sell anything from them again.
I want someone there to say "ya know, we should've just sent him new headphones". If ya know what I mean. I'd be willing to take a little heat just to prove a point. At least that's how I feel right now. Maybe tomarrow will be different.
