so i am haveing another wonderful ebay experience
friday i won 2 auctions from the same seller for a orion extreme 600.4 & orion extreme 800.2 old school amps(pre directed electronics).
this is a quote from his auction " Payment to be made by paypal or money orders only, paypal prefered. If paid by paypal, this will ship immediately VIA FEDEX ground with insurance and tracking number."
so now my question is: i payed for these on saturday morning via paypal with my credit card. so they should have gone out monday and i should have received tracking #'S from him.
so wed rolls around i hear nothing, so i email him and ask if he got these shipped out and if i could get tracking #'s from him.
his reply was well the funds just cleared my bank account so i will be shipping them out afterwork today and i will email the tracking #'s when i get home.
ok fine but today rolles around and guess what.....nothing.
so do i wait a couple more days before i get on him about this or should i get on him now and stay on him untill i receive them??
i do know i am done with buying from ebay!!!!!!
i am just not having very good luck

Give it a week, if you don't see anything then refuse payment through your CC company.

I am sort of running into the same problem. I won on auction on Monday, I sent him a paypal payment, but I haven't heard one single thing from him. I sent him an email today to see when he shipped it or plans on shipping it. I am giving him a couple more days to respond to my email. I was able to find out he is a college student living on campus (ht eaddress his ebay account gave me) and I think I found his parent phone number & address as well. I have had good luck in the past dealing with little Johnny's (in this case Derek) parents to put some pressure on their son

I bought something last week, asked him a question which he answered and said it would ship the next day. Never heard anything else from him. Last night without warning I received my package.
Point is not everyone has the decency(sp) to give out a tracking #. Give him a week then ask him again about the tracking # and/or when it will arrive.

I got an email saying he will refund my money. He is out of stock is what he wrote
So much a pair of RSD10's for $49.99

I knew it was a gamble (no feedback, high shipping), but I took the gamble and tried to protect myself with the payapl/credit card combo.

but it bothers me that he says it will ship immediatly and i will provide tracking # .
if he didnt specify forwarding the tracking # it prolly wouldnt bother me so much.
but i am also a little squemish right now because of the ordeal with the outlaw amp i bought on ebay.....so i am prolly making to big a deal outta the whole thing

I didn't realize he was a reseller. I was hoping he was cashing in his christmas presents or something like that. It was achance it appears as I didn't get burned.
It looks like I am going to ordering from Crutchfield. I found $20 off coupon and they have free shipping.

You don't have to tell me, believe you me, I know about deals gone awry!
I always and usually only buy from people with 100% feedback or close to it. If it's not 100% then I check to see how many neg. in the past month and year. This isn't fail proof, but it gives me a little more insurance in dealing with strangers.
Another deal will come around for you anyways.

And you have no idea how hard it is to dig out of that hole. Ive been on since 99, I have 5 negative total, out of 412. I once got negative feedback from a guy because I didnt reply to his 2 emails daily, His item shipped right away, And he wrote: "i recieved the item quickly but he did not return a lot of my e-mails" and 2 more were for retaliation for me getting screwed. After all that my % is still only 98.6.
Bottom line, I should be 100% but I always research the seller before I bid. Check to see if they are getting their rating from selling or just buying to create a higher rating.

And with UPS and FEDEX you can input a email address to send the tracking # to, its a no brainer and covers everyone involved.

Fuck that crap. Any seller with game will contact the buyer if there ANYTHING, AND I MEAN ANYTHING that changes the deal, including shipping delays etc. It's called fucking courtesy. Did he call to say he was going to delay retrieving your payment? There you go. Within 24 hours of no communication, I would be all over the seller like Pandy on a chubber.

Its been over 24 hours and still no refund that he promised. I am getting sick of these games. I ended up filling a claim with paypal to get my money back.

Be prepared for the negative feedback from him. He'll make it out to be all your fault somehow.
