Im seriously considering registering a team for this!

basicly you and 4 buddies make a dogseld team where 4 dudes pull the 5th one on a shopping cart!

each team has a theme (last years best one was cavemen with their cart on fire!)

so....help me think of some awesome themes!

some of my first ideas were already taken:

team nintendo (mario, link, donky kong..etc)

and team holy grail (and the monty python guys...)

We did a charity 'Cardboard Derby' a couple of winters ago. Build a sled outta nothing but cardboard, paper and tape. There were some awesome ideas there. A group did a scale model of the Starship Enterprise complete with Capt Kirk, Spock, a couple of Klingon's. The funniest was a group did an outhouse and called themselves 'the Crappers'

Maybe a Roman Chariot with blades sticking out the sides to skewer your opponents. Or a Mad Max theme. Or a team of characters from the cartoon Drawn Together.
