I am selling my Jeep as it is a much too expensive hobby for me and I am getting out of it before I blow any more money on it.

I am starting to look at other projects and I think I have narrowed it down. I want to do something big. Something metal. Something American. Something totally BOSS >:).
I am leaning towards a '66 Continental, but have considered a '62. Or maybe a '68 Cadillac Fleetwood. I like the lines of the Lincoln much more though so I think I will go that way....just not quite sure on the year. Every year in the 60's they had a new front end...not sure which is my favorite yet.....here are some pics.

You think offroading is less expensive than car restoration? Either way that 62 looks totally bad ass... I would take the '66 wheels with it though.
Just to piss everyone off you should swap a Prius motor into it

lol....I dont plan on "restoring" it. I plan on making it my own. Most of the money will be spent on the paint and interior. I will lower it a bit and put some nice retro wheels on it...maybe white walls....it will be a cruiser.
I dont think a Prius motor would get it out of the driveway....this thing weighs more than 5 priuses probably.

I think the '62 is the best looking of the bunch too....I think I am going that direction.
Lowered a bit with some nice retro wheels and possibly white walls. No 24" spinners here. Re do the seats in a nice leather. Suede headliner. And paint it black with green flake.

Here is the one James drives.

have you thought about a mid 60's impala? I like the 64 SS, but even the base ones are cheap to make look nice.

I've been wanting a Lincoln for years!!!!!
I'm trying to save up some $$$ so I can get one in the next couple years.
I like all of the 60's myself, but a 62-63 is what I'm shootin for.

I like the grill on the '62 and '64....not so much the '63. Doesnt really grab me. The '66 has a nice pissed off look to it as well.

Looks like we are all after the same cars....good luck!

There's an electric blue 66' 2dr on 22" wires that runs around P-town and everytime I see that kid he's got 3-4 girls in the backseat.

I've had this Lincoln for about 15 years now.
'69 Mark III w/60K miles.
Drop in a battery and go.
It's a future project.
A Chinese family can live in the trunk .........

I also know where there are two '63's and a '62 sitting doing dick. They are pretty rough, but appear to have a lot of original chrome and trim for anyone building one.
