Best album I've heard in a long time

Post by smgreen20 »

A friend from work let me borrow his new Slipknot album, All hope is gone.

I'm more impressed w/it then I was w/Metallicas newest one. The only problem I had w/it was that in the production it could've used about 2 dB more in the low end. 3 dB seemed to be to much.

Psychosocial and snuff are my favs for right now. The whole album is one of the best I've heard in a long time and SK's best to date. Very powerful and explosive.

Now I'm going to have to shell out some $$, which is tight, to get the album.

I agree, I bought the album the day it came out and it lived in my deck for quite awhile. I really enjoyed the sound of the new cd, seems much more "put together" than their other stuff.

If you're buying the cd, there are 2 versions. The copy with the DVD has 3 extra songs I think. The DVD is pretty much crap though.

That's the one he had. It's also the one I'll get.
