She's been complaining about he mouse freaking out on her computer for a couple of weeks now. She's even had IT over there to take a look, but it really didn't freak out when they were there.

Well, today she brought them over there again to take a look at it and they let her in on the secret. The guy that sits in the cubicle on the other side of her has plugged a wireless mouse into the USB port on the back of her tower and can control the mouse as well.

Not too shabby of a prank. Now she needs a retaliation prank, ideas??

i have an awesome trick for retribution...but its hard to explain...


you need fishing line, a mousetrap, thin cardboard (shoebox lid works great) and a coat hanger.


you use some of the coat hanger to "extend" the mouse trap so that the part that normally would come down on the mouse extends out like 6-8 inches.

then make a"trey" out of the cardboard and attach it to the coat hanger that is attached to the mouse trap. like 6 inshes long, 3 inches wide and 1/2 inch tall is enough

you are basically making a mousetrap catapult

so now, when the trap "springs" it flips the the whole trey up with it 6-8 inches taller then normal

next, use the fishing line to attach the mouse cord to the pin on the mouse trap, so when the mouse is moved too much, the pin is pulled and the trap springs.


set this whole thing up ontop of the back of his computer monitor (out of site)


fill the trey with powdered sugar, or something awesome (cayenne pepper? glitter?)

you will need to secure the trap down with ducktape to the back of the monitor.

so now if everything goes right, he moves the mouse to much, and the trap flings forward launching crap all over him and his desk.

You've thought long and hard about this one Bri........Where did ya see it first........???

There's always the tazer under the chair prank.....

There's the classic take a print screen of a current program a co-worker has open, set as background, and hide all icons. Sit back and watch them try to figure out what is wrong. Not a very good prank, but I got one of the less computer savvy guys in my office. He called IT and they were running virus scans to find out what was wrong!
