fuck me, this is almost as good as the remastered Bad I picked up.

John Mayer, "Where the light is".

Nicely done. He can play, the band do a good job, and the production is "warts and all" - i.e. the quality is good to excellent, with realistic staging, him breathing, the screams and the comments - "let me first say, how wonderful it feels to know that it's 2007 and we just launched into a slow blues and 7000 people in LA went nuts. All is not lost." Disc 1, track 11, around 10s. Disc one: Track 1, 5, 9. Haven't listened to 2 enough yet.

Recommended.

THe Bad Remastering has a lot of comments from Quincy Jones - and track 9 has a fantastic heartbeat at the start. I think it's speed demon, and it's simply excellent.
Dangerous pales in comparison. This is the real shiznit.

Yeah, that a smattering of new stuff my friend introduced me to recently. It's what I've liked most from what he showed me so far. It's not "new" per say, but new to me.

How else? It's popular on the internet

You can hear the whole album here (click Player in the bottom right). That song (Beat Boy) is probably my favorite. Note: the website is NOT WORK SAFE.

Sharing the no-homoness, I have been on a real SEAL kick lately, mainly his first album, partly his second.
For early to mid 90s it's impressive quality, dynamics, and turns heads when I keep the windurrs rolled down! 8)
Takin' it to Downtown-Fucktown since 1990.
