So when you sellin that mule to me my friendVW337 wrote:The title says it all. The MPH10k has left PG.
That is one hell of a paper weight.BH wrote:I've still got one of the FET's we were using to design that power supply in my office here in Eugene!
Check out this beast!

These FETs were about 20 bucks a piece... I took one when I left as my little piece of the MPH10K.

It never failed, the power supply was removed for re-work to increase efficiency, just never was finished. The project was axed.1moreamp wrote:I have 8 of those here in my shop I was planning on using in a power supply somewhere down the road. send it to me I buy a set for it, just to see that thing pound again one more time. you are talking upon deaf ears....1moreamp wrote:Real sweet design for the amp though. PG would do well with that design on a later product line, say maybe some PWM (ICE style) amps, Full bandwidth maybe, just thinking out loud here
No no you are not, I in fact have suggested several ideas similar to that........Bfowler wrote:you are talking upon deaf ears....1moreamp wrote:Real sweet design for the amp though. arent ICE amps basically full range class D amps?VW337 wrote:No no you are not, I in fact have suggested several ideas similar to that........Bfowler wrote:you are talking upon deaf ears....1moreamp wrote:Real sweet design for the amp though. It is marketing that it is having a hard time understanding this.
We'd wound torroids for it by hand too! Those were all done. We didn't have that much time to dedicate to it cause there were too many stupid fires to put out here and there. Plus I had NeoSys that was taking up all sorts of extra clock cycles.1moreamp wrote:I have 8 of those here in my shop I was planning on using in a power supply somewhere down the road. send it to me I buy a set for it, just to see that thing pound again one more time.
