Somebody backed into my car today... some advice I guess

so I've been letting my brother and his fiance use my old civic hatch for the past month and a half or so, and today somebody bumped into it a bit (I say a bit because I havent actually seen it myself, but his fiance says its not bad)

its a 92 VX that I bought for $2300 a few years ago, its still in decent condition, except for a big dent in the door from my sister. Anyhow, turns out the guy that hit it had no insurance. I don't really give a shit about the car, its just a beater and I was basically planning on putting it up on craiglist when I got it back from them (replace it with a cheap miata probably)

Should I take it easy on the kid and let it slide? She got his license number, plate number, name, phone number etc. Who knows if its real.. Maybe call the guy and try and get a few $$ out of him? I'm not really an asshole, and if the guy had insurance I doubt i'd have ever made a claim out of it.. but driving without insurance pisses me off a bit. It was in a community college parking lot, btw..

meh, ignore this. just saw the car and cant even see the mark on it. Not even worth the post.

Cool...glad it wasn't so bad or noticeable! Had a kid run into the back of me...(had a civic 91 hatch)
he had a CRX dont remember the year...I was at a stop light, and he came SCREECHING....and hit me...not hard...his car went under mine....no big deal....walked away from it...said don't worry bout it...hehe
he was SOOOOOO Scared!

I once rear ended a guy going like, maybe 5 miles an hour. He was cool about it as he was driving a beater and so was I. I think it might have actually cleaned his truck a little!
