Duuuhhhh! NOW I Get It !!!!

A few days ago, I witnessed the "slap-down" between this boards mods.
and some guy who posted an item for sale and then "bought" this same
item himself under another name. Stipud busted him, but I couldn't figure
out WHY a person would sell something to himself...then it hit me...it was a set-up! By "buying" an item from himself and leaving a positive review of the transaction, he could begin to generate a false idea of confidence with this boards members. Thus having been "verified as legitimate",he could then next "buy" or "sell" items at this board and screw the members
over by with holding payments or not sending items out or whatever. It
actually took me this long to figure this out. REALLY. Sad, isn't it? At least I did finally get it though! Obviously, contrary to what I tell my wife,
there are SOME things I don't know, but am willing to learn. Thanks to
Stipud, I won't have to learn this lesson the hard way!!!

He's talking about some dude who signed up here with two accounts (one was "highvoltage") and was selling some items to himself. He said he did that because he decided to not sell the items anymore and blah, blah, blah, but it was BS.

And who's "the wizard" and how did he/she know the ordeal with only 2 posts.... Andddd a join date of Feb 2009? Prior to ssim/highvoltage deal....happening?

You guys are so paranoid sometimes. The wizard is not ssims.
Funny though... I just saw that ssims had to delete all his homepages after this ordeal.

hehe...well...just that this is a family here for me...I am protective...as you can see!
Stipud you have some if not all the tools to be able to tell who's who and what's what sometimes...
