Funny Story...

so by chance I saw a friend of mine from back when I was in high school. The kid was a one my closer friends then , but moved out of state so I rarely see him. So as we're catching up, he sees my ride and compliments me on it, so i tell him ot get in so I can rattle his brains a bit with the new system... Ironically enough, he's into car audio too and pushes his subs with a black zpa .05...and actually doesn't know much about it or PG except that the amp kicks it so I set 'em straight and tell him to join here (He hasn't yet) ... soo he tells me this story
shortly after installing the zpa on some JL's, he spots a couple of guys scoping out his ride while at amall...he confronts them and sends them off and never thinks anything of it. then he gets word from a friend that the guys are planning on stealing his gear
he's a gota security system so no biggie right??? well they managed to get their hands on the subs in the box, but the zpa was behind plexi and not a quick steal so they left it.. here's the funny part..
the stupid bastards just throw the subs in their SUV and hook 'em up to their amp...some crap sony or something....with no cap, no d block, no fuse protection at all and a remote wire patched in to the fuse panel in the car....remember, my buddy had a zpa with the subs running in parallel (I think ) a 1 ohm (I think) ...so at that load the amp pretty much shit itself and when it did it surged back to the batt. and to the fuse panel frying the circuit and shutting down the vehicle...
on the highway no less, .
my buddy had called the cops on the guys about the subs so they got busted for that....so the kid gets his subs back, and the satisfaction of the dudes getting busted AND the enjoyment of them completely frying part of their ride too........further proof that PG means bizness...
