How do you make a MP4 file smaller ?

Can I resize it or something ?

Can I use some program to edit the length....and make smaller clips out of it ?

I'm not totally sure but a program like sony vegas might be able to do it. Its a very expensive program but can be found using torrents

I have a program to do this with.....how do you do it ?

I just need my MP4 files to have a little smaller file size.....when I resize I lose my audio.....I know someone has done this before.....if not that is just crazy.....I need to send some videos in a email but the file size it too large

I tried that...but the audio goes away :?:


I think I might just shoot them in a lower resolution tomorrow

MP4 video, not audio (AAC), I suppose?

You need a video transcoder program. I know Quicktime Pro on Mac does it, along with a bunch of other Mac software. FFmpeg, VisualHub, etc. 2 minutes on google hasn't yielded any good results for Windows however.

How about uploading the video to YouTube, then sending them the link for it? Beats the hell out of sending large files in emails.

I shot new videos in a lower resolution....worked perfect.....I have dial up though....who can I email the videos 2, so they can post them....it will take me all week if I try :lol:
