A little sound in the work car

Post by cojones »

Got a Scion XB a couple of months back from my job and decided to put some sound in it . I carry a lot of tools and equipment in the back so space was a priemium. Time to get the glass and resin back out. Pics are off a camera phone sorry.

Hey nice work! I bet that sounds awesome, I need to come hear it. I have not heard the ID set up with a port yet. Give me a call, or pm me your number again.

My ears adjusted to the bell, now its time for a little more power. After a little research, I decided i should be happy with 1500 watts as long as its done well. I figured a RF T1500.1 would do it, since they don't leave the factory unless their 10% over spec.

Wow. This amp is everything RF stands for in their Power line. My ID Max is reaching full excursion and sounds like 2 12s. Fantastic. After I did the Big 3, she got even louder! I'm gonna have to find me a T400.4.....

Yeah, I love those RF Power minis. Nice clean power in a small footprint. Always get more than rated power out of them also.

Scion got spoiled again, added a T400.4 to the T1500.1, Birth sheet came 542wrms instead of 400. Flushed in a Kenwood 8120, which is the baddest deck until the 9240 comes out in May. Gotta love these RF Power Minis, two under one seat?!

Does your sub make any port noise. I have a idmax 12 and a box that is 2.55 cuft and I was going to port it. Where did you get your port mouths? Thanks

Theres only a little port noise in the 28hz range. The ports are scorpion aero ports.
