One of the guys I would sometimes hang out with on the weekends just bought one for his wife. I'll try to get to the car club hang out this weekend and look at it if he drove.

Why don't you just ship it down here for me to drive around for a bit and get my ideas a'forming. I'm in need of a second vehicle right now any ways.

So you somewhat imply that you'll do it. :hmm:

So where do you live????

17 mpg!!! That's it????!!! Damn even my truck will get 20 mpg on the highway. Yea you're pushing 400 hp, but I'm at 350 hp and a lot bigger. I wonder who's heavier? AWD will do that to you I guess.

My 4Runner gets 17-20 on the highway (depending on how fast I drive) and less in the city (obviously). Damn pig. Good thing I don't drive a lot, I guess! :)

well give her some credit...it is a 6 liter from a vette pulling around a 4400 pound vehicle. My big 250 pound arse in it, 2 10" Boston G5's ( thats good for a few pounds by themseleves ) 2 G% 10" passive radiators, the box, an additional optima yellow top in the rear with a red in the front, 2 1.2 Farrad caps, 2 X JL slash 500.1's, 1 X 300.2 and 1 300.4 Mids and tweets are all old black basket boston pro's. So Its pulling some weigth to say the least. As far as driving style......WFO man! So 17 isnt bad!

I did have a 2000 GMC Z71 with the 5.3 in it. Gibson exhaust cat back, K&N filter charger kit, throttle body spacer, hypertech programmer, rolling 33 1050's and she got 23 on the hwy and around 19 in town. But it was now where near as fun to drive.

Completely off topic but do you know what this thing does, HP-wise, to the wheels? This couple rolled up on me at an intersection, I looked over and saw the SS badging and immediately knew it had something in it. They told me "Corvette engine", light turned green and the girl at the wheel floored it while the guy in the passenger seat smiled as they launched past me. I had flashbacks of Joerg thinking "ricer" the whole way!

Since I was in the Supra (heavily lowered) I had to gingerly make my way across the intersection dips, but once I got across, I floored it, got turbo lag, then first turbo, then 2nd turbo, and whoosh, I was right next to them. As I pulled up I let off, which released both my blow-off valves, which make sounds like an Indiana Jones whip-crack. And I think this caused her to let up, wondering what the hell I had.

So if not for my whip-crack of doom, I think this would have been a pretty stout race for me. Makes me want to spend car audio dollars on a turbo upgrade. Bad SS! Bad SS!
