I'm sure u know this, but u r going to want to disassemble all the amps and I'd do all of the gear and blow all that dust off it. When my dad painted his Mustang the dust on the circuit boards had metal flake in it and one of his zpa 3s caught fire right above the gas tank. Almost lost the entire car over it, but got the fire out finally and just lost the amp... :x

No worries the gear was put in just for the pics, but I'll not take a chance a do it anyway. Thanks for the heads up.

So cool that you/installer are taking the time to document most of the steps.
Is this car gonna be driven much after it's completed or is it gonna be more of a show car?
I can definately see this getting some coverage in PASMAG and CA&E's website. What is the goal for completion
date wise?
screw car audio, I'd rather go fast....errr, wait a minute.

No but it will not be a trailer queen...show car but more for my own enjoyment.

My goal is to get it publish in the PASMAG and hopefully in time for a big car show end of August if not October.

Just put some Honda and Type-R badges on it for the photo shoot!

But more on topic, this civic is getting mighty crazy. I thought the dash gauges were wild enough and then you go and motorize that whole panel to reveal 5 freakin' screens behind it! Dizzzam.

the dash looks good but personally I am just not big on having too many to look at. But while I say that I am currently adding some one gauge that will allow me to use color led display to monitor up to 32 different module sensors.

http://www.plxdevices.com/multigauges.html

They allow for a number of custom looks and background settings, it monitors all the factory sensors through the obd port and can display more then one measurement at one time. A whole line of these across your dash would look tits but would certainly not be cheap but that doesn't seem to be much of a problem so far...

Now the motorization of the guages is a neat/new idea.
