haha, yeah. i was just reading if you upgrade the turbo to a garret t04 and take out the ac to fit a giant ass inter cooler you can knock them into the 12's

No, those are the first generation Caravan's. 90's and earlier. Mines a 93'. I can feel a huge difference in power loss with the second 200 amp alt. I can actually feel the gas pedal vibrating a very small amount when I drive from the belt tensioning.

why'd you use the t20001s instead of the t40001s? How did you wire them, 2 subs to 1 ohm to 1 amp, meaning 1000w/sub?

Because the T20001's aren't really 2000 watt amps, they're under rated by about 800 watts on average. Thus giving me 1400 watts per sub at 1 ohm each. Also because I started with 3 of them and got a good deal. Then the 4th came...

Those 6x9's and 6.5 coax are gonna sound like shit being the same open enclosure as the subs.

To be honest, I have no idea what my amps really put out. I wish I had a way of knowing. I know that even with all my amps together using 1 amp as the master and the rest as slaves, I still get 1 amp that will sometimes when pushed with the gains way up will switch off for a few seconds and you can hear a ticking sound when it comes back on. I don't know why it does that... They are obviously not all the exact same, and either are the subs. But it still pounds like bloody hell..

Oh yeah, and thanks bfowler for explaining the baffles. I almost didn't say anything.

Yea I got jacked. That's alright I have titanium power now and couldn't be happier.
