If you ever run into this bud, just use a good heat gun and blast some hot air in between the gap for a few seconds. Then carefully use your pry tool and they should come apart like easy peasy

They are made from brushed aluminum. Pics, as usual, don't do it justice. The ring is textured black and the spokes are aluminum. Done this way to flow with the amps as well as the oem aluminim rims. Paint would look out of place IMO
