Okay...well the plan was to wrap the rack and box today and get it in the truck. Well as fate would have it the rack was way too high and the cyclones were about half an inch below the rear sunroof and the dd port about 10...so back down to cut the rack off and do the vinyl...all of which has just been completed....trim plates tomorrow and load it...more picks on the morrow folks....I am beat and still havn't had a nap after a buttered steak for lunch...

Who took your pics? I can't tell what you are trying to get us to see in those pics.

#1 - look at the back of my head!
#2 - I have a shoulder!
#3 - hey there is some stuff!
#4 - check out my dust collection system
#5 - peek-a-boo!
#6 - filled some holes
#7 - holes up close
#8 - I have no idea what this is of
#9 - it will go here!
#10 - you will want to paint the back of that port.
#11 - FOCUS!

Heheh....sorry...I am SHORT...and most of the pictures were taken in haste...plus lighting is not the greatest. SORRY! hehe
And yes Chris...sorry every time I went to take a picture...you were doing something over there...

Just taking pictures of the box....
Main thing was to give you guys an idea of how BIG this thing really is.
And then secondly to show how she was built on the inside and out.

we got an idea of how big it was. Sounds like it was 1/2" too big? I hate when that happens.......

Lookin good though! Be sure to paint the inside of the port or it will stick out like a soar thumb.

are the octane amps ok to mount horozontally? I ask this because I was not comfortable mounting my own that way. I just don't know how those 4 plastic tabe can hold 24 lbs up like that? I have seen a couple of amps that were still big(but smaller and lighter then the octane) that when mounted that way have snapped the mounting screws holding them. I made some padded bracing that went under my amp(and under the shroud) and then made some strips out of MDF so that the entire metal flang on the end was holding it rather then just the tabs.

Hey guys...been busy as hell. Yeah the grill across the bottom comes all the way up with runners and will hide all of the wiring. We've got some stuff that is coming...grates and plates with pg logos off of a couple diferent pg show cars.....there is a top trim plate that wraps around it....all will be hidden.

I ordered the vinyl and it came in peices...didn't really take into account the actual surface area of the thing. I intended to vinyl the top but that quickly got out of hand.

All said and done I think it'll weigh close to 350...then the batteries and center console...add close to five hundred lbs to the truck

over the next few days I'll be getting more pics as stuff is wrapped up. I've got the vinyl on the base...not pictured yet...and have to mount that and build the slides for the reactors to go in under the box.

after cutting about 2 inches off the rack it'll all go in but the reactors will have to slide in and sit behind a plate with just the nose coming thru

the box and rack are 49 inches tall and the box is 42.5 inces wide...the le is secured with t nuts and has extra foam going in under it all around...pretty secure...mounted with silicone in the hole so it won't come out...the big bolts will hide behind the rounded rails along with the 4 gauge wires running the cyclones....

the box is ridiculous...really all I can think to say...I can't even move it around the shop alone. Steve is short so we can't move it together and lift it to high...not steves fault...we could get him some booster heel shop boots or a little platform lift...hehe
