Post by knightrider358 »

Hey Guys,

I know this aint no stereo install but I figured yall might have wanted to see a before and after of what $50 bucks will get you. I think it turned out great. Now for who doesnt know I got this stuff off ebay and it is almost availible for any popular make and model. Anyways I hope this helps anyone debating to get this for their car. I got it after I installed it in a couple of my friends cars. If anyone has any questions just ask and Ill answer it the best I can for ya! Also this is my 98 4Runner's.

my wrx had some of those in it when I bought it, they looked alright I guess.. they were a bit intermittent, so I ripped them back out.. but they did actually look nice..
I'm afraid of widths.

they sell the leds at autozone.

I just used a blue tinted bulb myself. I have never been able to get use to the white face gauges myself.

Got the LED bulbs from superbrightleds.com

Only for behind the instrument cluster and my ignition switch illumination.

The rest of the interior involved taking apart switches, desolder/solder circuit boards, etc...

Those LEDs came from Honk Kong (eBay).
